A customer wants to use the Xilinx Zynq platform to develop a PLC with IoT technologies (security, OPC UA) and use POWERLINK as fieldbus in a highly performant system.

Solution:

We integrated different technologies:

Linux OS
CODESYS Control for SoftPLC
ESS for cyber security, based on Kaspersky’s KSS
OPC UA server stack (Matrikon FLEX)
openPOWERLINK stack on the FPGA

In order to make the solution attractive, all third-party software configuration (POWERLINK, OPC UA and security) is made available from the CODESYS environment.
